Edgar Allen Poe’s spooky story of Prince Prospero and his guests in a haunted abbey, is performed alongside music for harp and string quartet by André Caplet in Conte Fantastique. A reading of the story by Mare Trevathan, will be interspersed with the musical performance.

The Chamber Players perform a lively program with music from the USA, Argentina and Mexico.
They perform delightful pieces by Argentine composers Alberto Ginastera and Astor Piazzolla; USA composers Maria Newman, Duke Ellington and Mark Carlson; Antonin Dvorak’s American quartet, written in Spillville, Iowa; and folk songs from Mexico.
Can be presented in English and Spanish.
