Maeve aims to empower learners to EXPLORE new materials in playful ways, while focusing on PROBLEM SOLVING and building their SELF-ESTEEM. Maeve is a Colorado native, growing up in urban and rural settings, where she learned early on the importance of discipline and responsibility. These types of experiences give Maeve an open mind to a variety of ages and cultures. Her preferred art mediums are collage, mixed media, painting and printmaking, all the while, adding historical references into her curriculum; because we don’t learn in a vacuum.
Maeve has received her BFA and MFA and is now a practicing artist as well as a College instructor at RMCAD and Regis University. There she teaches Color theory, Creative Thinking and Sculpture. She is passionate about inclusion and allowing her learners to find self-expression and excitement in the process. Visit her website to learn more.
