MOMENT IN TIME

by Betsy Tobin & Michael Gunst
This puppet theatre performance is a collaboration between Now Or Never Theatre and Gunstwork Puppet Mask Theatre with music by Jesse Manno.
Inspired by real-life situations captured in vintage photographs, Moment in Time paints an evocative portrait of the human condition. Through puppets, masks, movement, and imagery, a pair of workers tell stories in a universal language without words. Not unlike a silent film or perhaps the pages of a cherished photo album, each meticulously crafted scene of this multimedia theater piece is rendered in glorious black and white, inviting the audience into a realm where the ordinary transforms into the extraordinary.
Suitable for middle school and high school audiences, as well as elementary grades 4-6.
Up to 250 people per show.

Since opening at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder in November 2023, Moment in Time has been performed at The Tank in NYC, the Denver Fringe Festival, and at the Longmont Museum.
Funded by the Boulder Arts Commission, the Puffin Foundation & the Boulder County Arts Alliance.
