Elle Hong
Elle Hong is an anti-disciplinary artist, writer, and educator from the occupied lands of the Hawaiian Kingdom (Honolulu, HI). Currently based in Cheyenne/Ute/Arapaho/Sioux Territories (Denver, CO), they received their MFA in Dance from the University of Colorado Boulder with a graduate certification in Emergent Technologies & Media Arts Practice, and their BA in Dance & Sociology from Wesleyan University. Elle is overjoyed to be working with the Think 360 team on professional development and various programs throughout the greater Colorado area.
Professional accomplishments include working directly with contemporary performing artists in creative and administrative capacities, service work in programming for universities and public arts institutions, experience in secondary through tertiary arts instructional pedagogy, and, most recently, assisting in the launch of remote undergraduate programs at Naropa University overseen by the USDOE. Their multifaceted experiences throughout the arts, education, and nonprofit organizations have provided them with the knowledge necessary to operate from the intersection of arts and social change.
