Creative Learning Labs for Teaching Artists and Education Providers

Creative Learning Labs are 2 ½ hour professional development workshops on a variety of topics pertinent to the needs of teaching artists and arts education providers.

Workshops take place on Tuesday mornings and afternoons, four times a year, with two different workshops on each day. All workshops take place at the Think 360 Arts office (directions and contact info).

The AM session takes place from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and the PM session is from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

Light refreshments will be provided. If you are staying for both sessions, please bring a lunch, or you will have time to get lunch from nearby restaurants.

Pricing**:

One session / Half-day = $40*

Both sessions / Full-day = $60*

*If you are a Think 360 Arts Teaching Artist, you will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee upon completion of the workshop.
** No refunds will be offered under any circumstances, besides the above exception for Think 360 Arts Teaching Artists.

In addition, certification hours for trainings completed by Think 360 Arts Teaching Artists will be displayed on each Teaching Artist’s profile.

  • AM SESSION, 9:00 am to 11:30 am  – Collaborative Artmaking, presented by Damon McLeese and Cris Ciani of VSA Colorado/Access Gallery
    Collaborative Artmaking can be used to create an atmosphere of acceptance and support for students with special needs. This project can also be used with non disabled and/or mixed groups.
  • PM SESSION, 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm – STEAMOLOGY Part 2: NASA’s MISSIONMakers, presented by Monica and Tyler Aiello of Eurekus
    Learn how to inspire engineering literacy through this hands-on training. Fusing mission design with kinetic sculpture, participants get valuable tools to transform learning through making experiences.
