Join local nonprofit Pop Culture Classroom, the brains behind Denver Comic Con, in this workshop to learn about how we utilize pop culture as a tool to inspire a love of learning, increase literacy, celebrate diversity, and build community through the Arts. Presenters Dr. Katie Monnin and Adam Kullberg, MFA will lead attendees through hands-on exercises and discussions about building a diverse, representative graphic novel collection for a diverse array of arts-based educational settings.
