Beyond Freeze Dance: Movement, Learning, and Trauma
Presented by: Elise Silva, Queenz of Hip-Hop
Explore new science about the relationship between movement and the capacity for learning in young children, especially among those affected by trauma. Together we will identify and engage in practices that support healthy cognitive, physical, and social/emotional development, as well as deepen our understanding of the effects of trauma and its healing. No movement experience necessary.
