Jess Webb

Jess Webb is an educator, an artist, musician and idea maker. She works at helping herself and others to appreciate the delicate and humble overlooked tiny miracles through connection and collaboration. Jess touches things to feel was under the surface. She listens to hear what’s between. She is an intuitive researcher and acute observer season nurture and healer and profoundly connected to the earth with your relationship to body and soul she also maintains a childlike playfulness which keeps her head in the clouds. -Jordan Knecht

Jess Webb attended Metro Denver for spatial media and art education. She has been a Denver based artist for 15 years. She is excited to work on a large scale installation for Denver Meow Wolf coming in 2019.

Jess works in sound, 2D and 3D and conceptual art. She prefers to work with natural and recycled materials. Her concepts engage healing, meditation, human connection, plant connection, natural environments, travel and place.

  • Recycled Materials Installation Workshop

    Workshop or Residency for grades K through 12th

    In this workshop we will work together as a team to create an installation. We will be working with recycled, reclaimed found objects and natural materials to create a collaborative installation that relates to environmental issues or relates to a lot of small pieces creating a whole.

  • Symbolism & Context Workshop

    Workshop or Residency for grades K through 12th

    In this workshop we make collages, do blind contour drawings, and watercolor while exploring symbolism, metaphor and context.

  • Sound art workshop

    Workshop or Residency for grades 6th through 12th

    This workshop is designed for students to collect found sounds and create ambient soundscapes. We talk about sculpting sound.
