Jen Olson, Executive Director of Think 360 Arts for Learning, has been a leader in arts education for over twenty-five years, and has led the organization through a time of growth and change. In the last four years, the organization began a new affiliation with the Wolf Trap Institute, expanded rural programming and creative aging, reframed teacher and artist professional development through a social-emotional learning and abolition lens, and completed an equity-focused strategic planning process that re-envisioned Think 360 Arts’ mission, vision & values. She came to Think 360 Arts from Pasadena Unified School District where, as the Arts Education lead, she implemented a program expansion that doubled the number of students receiving high-quality music, dance, drama and visual arts instruction during the school day. She was also the founding Director of an award-winning collective impact program that developed a sustainable partnership between museums, arts organizations, and schools. Throughout her career, she has been a passionate advocate for the arts, bringing together children, adults, teachers, teaching artists, local and state agencies, and policy-makers alike to transform communities through the arts.
Jen has a BS in Community Education from Boston University, and an MA in Arts Education from California State University, Northridge.
