Prehistoric Painting – Cave art and creating your own paint

Workshop or Residency for grades K through 12th

Students will learn how to make paint and painting tools from raw materials, and the artistic challenges of working with primitive media. Longer workshops and residencies will also cover the use of symbols to convey stories and the development of visual language.
