Improvise!

Workshop or Residency for grades K through 12th

Students engage with a variety communication skills, while using drama and theatre activities to strengthen improvisational skills while discovering their multiple intelligences.
Students will develop better communication skills and enhance risk-taking ability while engaging in a variety of icebreaker activities using their imagination and teamwork. This activity gives students the opportunity to act, think out of the box, and be creative. As a result, students gain confidence to try things in other content areas. Drama activities encourage students to learn from those experiences, including fast failure. Linking left and right brain activity encourages students to innovate and create. Multiple intelligences are introduced and students will do activities to uncover theirs.
