Community Web Design

Residency for grades 9th through 12th

In this residency (ideally 40 hours), students learn in small groups about different aspects of web design and how it can be used as a tool for community organizing, fundraising and communication. Although the sites are not intended to go live (but could be with enough hours), learners have the opportunity to problem solve and collaborate while creating a site that addresses a breadth of issues while showing the power of this digital medium.
