Workshop or Residency for grades 6th through 12th
Ceramic work can be finished in a number of different ways. These include encaustic, image transfer, screen printing, cold finish, underglazes, sgrafitto and mishima. Some of these processes grow out of traditions in a specific culture or region and some of them are particularly useful in a narrative or story telling context. Based on the teacher need, a custom project can be developed to incorporate one or several of these specific techniques.
