A Message from the Think 360 Arts Board of Directors

Dear Think 360 Arts Family,

We the board of Think 360 Arts, understand the importance of keeping our community informed and engaged. To that end, we would like to share the news that our beloved executive director, Jennifer Olson, has decided to leave Think 360 at the end of the year. After successfully guiding the organization through four transformative years, Jennifer has decided to step aside to make space for a new leader with a fresh perspective. Jennifer has committed to stay with the organization through the end of year to provide a smooth transition for the new executive director and staff.

We are extremely grateful for Jennifer’s servant leadership at Think 360 Arts. During her tenure, the organization has seen exceptional growth in programming, reputation and financial position. Here are just a few of the highlights of Jennifer’s accomplishments on behalf of Think 360:

  • Innovatively redesigned the organization’s human resources processes with a primary focus on equity and inclusion.
  • Successfully guided the organization through the worst of the pandemic, ensuring organizational stability, while creatively pivoting services to continue supporting those we serve.
  • Led the development of new vision, mission and values statements and a robust five-year strategic plan that placed a priority on equity, inclusion, accessibility and diversity.
  • Increased the organization’s financial reserves through strong business acumen, new partnerships and program expansion to state-wide markets.

We know that replacing Jennifer is no easy task but her work over the last four years has provided a solid foundation for her successor. As stewards of the organization, it is our goal to provide a transparent and community focused selection process for the next executive director. Below are a few tactics we have employed to insure we meet this goal:

  • To honor Jennifer’s extraordinary commitment to equity, inclusion, diversity and accessibility, it is the board’s goal to select a qualified successor who reflects the background and lived experiences of our community.
  • We have committed to include staff and community in the process, making certain that the voices of those we serve are valued and heard.
  • To ensure a non-biased and fair process, we have hired a contractor with deep ties to the local arts community to support the logistics of the search.
  • The search will begin immediately, therefore allowing us on-boarding crossover with Jennifer and the new executive director.

While Jennifer will be sorely missed, we are grateful for all she has done to make Think 360 Arts a shining light in the Colorado arts community. We wish her only the best in her new adventures and commit to you a thoughtful and community-focused selection process for next our leader. We are confident this process will ensure that Think 360 Arts will continue to grow and thrive for another 60 years.

Sincerely,

The Think 360 Arts Board of Directors
