Hannah Kahn, award winning Artistic Director of the Hannah Kahn Dance Company, has been sharing her passion for dance with the Denver community since 1988. Beginning with her training at the Juilliard School in NYC, and continuing through decades of creating a successful company, Kahn has brought her belief in the joys of artistic expression and discipline to thousands of students. From her many years of working in public schools, she has learned that experiencing the art of dance first hand can engage and inspire young people by unlocking new avenues of creative thinking. She has often heard from teachers that her programs have triggered enthusiasm and participation from students who rarely share their ideas.

The goal of the workshop is to introduce students to some of the elements of dance that correspond with the appropriate grade level of Colorado Model Content Standards for Dance.
