    A trio from the CCP performs beautiful music by Brahms and Bruch along with the gorgeous dancers of Kim Robards Dance.

    Residency for grades 6th through 12th

    Testament: Diary of Bella Berliner
    Think360 actor Mare Trevathan joins musicians in a poignant program about courage, bullying and survival.
    The program highlights World War II diary excerpts from Barbara Hamilton’s great grandmother Bella Berliner. With the assistance of the Dutch underground, 60-year old Bella hid in seven different hiding places in Utrecht, Zeist and Amsterdam during World War II, after the Nazi invasion of the Netherlands. She survived the war, and emigrated to the USA after six years of separation from her family.
    Actor Mare Trevathan will read excerpts from Bella’s diary, accompanied by slides of the era. Barbara Hamilton, viola and Andrew Cooperstock, piano perform music by some of Bella’s favorite composers.

    Musica de las Americas: Exploring the music of North and South America
    The Chamber Players perform a lively program with music from the USA, Argentina and Mexico.
    They perform delightful pieces by Argentine composers Alberto Ginastera and Astor Piazzolla; USA composers Maria Newman, Duke Ellington and Mark Carlson; Antonin Dvorak’s American quartet, written in Spillville, Iowa; and folk songs from Mexico.
